Community guidelines
The Dot community works because women tell the truth here. These are the few rules that keep it that way. They apply to every room, reply and reaction.
What this space is for
- Real experience, shared plainly: what you tried, what changed, what didn't.
- Questions you'd hesitate to ask anywhere else — nothing here is too small or too awkward.
- Protocols, doses, timing and routines, shared as personal experience, not prescription.
What we expect from you
- Be kind first. Disagree with the idea, never the woman.
- Speak from your own experience. Say “this worked for me”, not “you should”.
- Protect privacy — yours and everyone else's. Don't post identifying details about other people.
- No selling, spam, affiliate links, or recruiting into other programs.
- No medical advice, diagnosis, or telling someone to start or stop a prescription.
What gets removed
- Harassment, hate, or targeting a member.
- Health misinformation presented as fact, especially anything that could cause harm.
- Doxxing, screenshots of private messages, or reposting someone's story without consent.
- Commercial spam and repeated off-topic posting.
How moderation works
- Every post is checked automatically before it publishes.
- Any member can report a post or reply — reports go to a human review queue.
- Posts that suggest a member may be in crisis are routed to warm private support, never publicly labeled or shamed.
- We remove content, not people, wherever that's enough. Repeat harm ends access.
Privacy
- You post under a pseudonym. Your community identity is never linked to your account identity.
- Nothing you post is published outside the community unless you explicitly consent when posting.
- We never sell your data — not your posts, not your symptoms, not your conversations.
Reporting something
Use the “Report” link on any post or reply. Tell us the reason — a human reviews every report. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call or text 988 in the U.S., or your local emergency number.
