Editorial & medical review policy
Dot publishes health education for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Because these are decisions people make about their bodies, we hold every page to the same sourcing and review standards, and we tell you plainly where our limits are.
Who writes and reviews Dot content
Educational content on this site is written and reviewed by the Dot editorial team at Kindr Health Inc (NPI 1609792902). Content is reviewed against current guidance from recognised bodies before publication, and each health page carries the date it was last reviewed.
Sourcing standards
- We cite primary and guideline-level sources: The Menopause Society (formerly NAMS), ACOG, NIH / National Institute on Aging, NICE and the NHS, and peer-reviewed journals.
- Every health claim on a topic page links to the source it came from.
- We do not cite supplement retailers, affiliate roundups, or single anecdotal reports as evidence.
- Where the evidence is genuinely mixed or thin, we say so instead of picking a side.
Review cadence
Health topic pages are reviewed at least every 12 months, and sooner when a major guideline changes. The review date printed on each page is the date the content itself was last checked — not the date the site was rebuilt.
How we use AI
Dot is an AI companion and is always identified as AI. AI drafts are never published as health content without human review. Conversations you have with Dot are generated in real time, are educational only, and are not reviewed content — Dot may be incomplete or wrong, and says so.
Independence
Dot is funded by subscriptions and employer plans. We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or recommend a product, brand, supplement, or clinician in our educational content. Comparison pages describe competitors factually using publicly available information at the time of review.
What Dot is not
Dot is not a medical provider and does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using Dot does not create a provider-patient relationship. See our disclaimer. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US). In an emergency, call 911.
Corrections
If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, email support@kindr.health with the page link. We investigate every report. When we correct a substantive error, we update the page, refresh its review date, and note the change where the meaning changed. You can also reach us through our contact page.
