Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
Kindr Health Inc. ("we", "us") operates Dot, an AI wellness companion. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, password hash, and preferences.
- Wellness inputs — chat messages with Dot, symptoms and check-ins you log.
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we retain limited billing metadata (e.g. plan, last-4, invoice IDs).
- Device & usage data — log data, device type, and interaction events used to operate and improve the Service.
How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and improve the Service.
- Process subscriptions and billing (via Stripe).
- Send transactional and (with consent) product emails.
- Safety, fraud prevention, and compliance with law.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with processors we rely on to run the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — hosting, database, and authentication.
- Anthropic — the large language model that powers Dot's chat responses.
- Email delivery, analytics, and error-reporting providers under confidentiality obligations.
Payment information is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel with a business need.
Retention
We retain account and wellness data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations. You may request deletion at any time.
What Dot remembers about you
To make Dot feel continuous instead of stateless, Dot maintains a small memory layer: an optional profile (stage and top concerns you tell it), rolling summaries of your past conversations, and a normalized log of the symptom categories you have mentioned in chat. This memory is scoped to your account and stored under row-level security. You can view a summary of what Dot remembers and delete all of it at any time from Settings → "Manage what Dot remembers." Deleting this memory does not delete your chat history — those are separate controls.
Your choices & rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing support@kindr.health. If you are in the EEA, UK, or a U.S. state with privacy rights (e.g. California), you have additional rights under applicable law.
Children
Dot is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
