Meet the Dot Ring

Your employees' nights tell a story.

Dot Ring is designed to work directly with Dot Pro, Dot Night Shift™ and Dot Twin™. It tracks supported overnight temperature and wellness patterns so Dot can understand each member's nights more deeply—without creating a separate wearable experience.

Sleep patterns
Duration, interruptions, and supported sleep trends over time.
Resting heart rate
Overnight heart-rate context where supported by the selected device.

Sensor observations plus the member's own report become inputs into Dot Twin. Dot describes patterns; it does not diagnose menopause, hot flashes, disease, or make medical decisions.

Menopause is a workforce issue — and employers are moving.

27%
of employers now offer menopause support or resources, up from 18% the year before (SHRM 2026 Employee Benefits Survey)
13%
of firms with 5,000+ workers already contract a specialized menopause-care vendor (KFF Employer Health Benefits Survey)
$1.8B+
estimated annual U.S. productivity loss tied to menopause symptoms (Washington Health Alliance)

Roughly one in five people in your workforce is in this stage right now — most of them silently. The category is being bought today; the question is whether your people get one coherent place to go, or a pamphlet.

What every employee gets

A platform built for this stage
Dot answers questions, tracks symptoms, and remembers what matters — 24/7, in her pocket.
A daily brief
One personalized note each morning based on her patterns. Small, useful, kind.
Visit prep for her provider
Dot turns weeks of tracked symptoms into a one-page summary she can bring to any doctor's appointment.
Belonging, not isolation
Anonymized signals show her how many others in her stage share what she's experiencing.
Pattern insights
After 3 weeks, Dot surfaces the connections she couldn't see herself.
Total privacy
Nothing she says to Dot ever reaches you. Not one word.

A benefit employees can actually feel.

Instead of another wellness portal employees may visit once, Dot creates an ongoing experience—from benefit enrollment to daily engagement. Ring plans add a physical Dot Ring for members who activate, complete sizing, and are eligible under the employer's selected plan.

Morning
View supported overnight wellness insights and changes from a personal baseline in Dot Night Shift.
During the day
Ask Dot questions, track symptoms and wellness, learn, and connect with community.
When support is needed
Eligible Pro members receive 30 minutes of live 1:1 support every 30 days, with additional session credits available.
Over time
Dot Twin builds a personalized longitudinal wellness history and connects nights with self-reported patterns.

Dot Pro also includes personalized intelligence, symptom and wellness tracking, education, community, and clinician-ready information where currently supported.

Why a Ring?

Designed for overnight use
Small, screen-free, and intended to be easy to wear while sleeping.
More context for Dot
Supported overnight wellness data adds objective context alongside self-reported observations.
Personalized baseline
Dot focuses on changes against the member's own history instead of generic numbers alone.
Better engagement
Members have a natural reason to check Dot in the morning.
One connected experience
Ring data flows into Dot Twin rather than living in a separate wearable application.

Rings for employees who activate.

Eligible employees enroll in Dot Business and activate their membership. Once activated and their Ring size is confirmed, their Dot Ring can be shipped directly to them according to the employer's selected plan.

What you get as an employer

Aggregate adoption reporting
Seat claim rate, active users, weekly engagement — bucketed and never per-person.
Impact signals
See directional improvement in mood and energy across your cohort. Suppressed below 25 people to protect individuals.
Themes
Top 5 symptoms discussed across your workforce — never tied to anyone.
Simple admin
Add seats via CSV or a single invite code. Employees claim in one tap.
SSO-ready
SAML and OIDC available for enterprise deployments.
Predictable pricing
Per-seat monthly. Pilot pricing available for the first 3 months.

Privacy is the product.

  • You will never see who claimed which seat.
  • You will never see any employee's conversations, symptoms, mood, or check-ins.
  • All dashboard metrics are cohort-aggregate and suppressed under 25 people.
  • Individual Ring temperatures, sleep records, and recovery trends remain private to the member.
  • Individual Dot Twin insights and live-session discussions are never visible to employers.
  • Employees can leave Dot at any time; their data stays theirs.
Private by design.

Employers receive only permitted aggregate engagement or population-level information consistent with Dot's existing privacy model—never individual health or wellness information.

Questions employers ask

How does pricing work?

Per eligible employee per month (PEPM), not per app download — so you budget against headcount, not adoption guesswork. Pilots run $8 PEPM for the first 3 months up to 500 eligible lives, $5 PEPM at 1,000–25,000 lives on an annual agreement, and custom pricing above 25,000 lives or for health plans and benefits partners.

What can employers see about their employees?

Only aggregate, cohort-level metrics: seat claim rate, active usage, weekly engagement, directional mood and energy trends, and top symptom themes. Everything is suppressed below 25 people, and no conversation, symptom, or check-in tied to an individual is ever visible to the employer.

How do employees get access?

You add eligible employees by pasting a list of work emails or by sharing a single invite link. Employees claim a seat in one tap on any device — no IT project, no app store rollout, no SSO required to start.

How does this work with HIPAA and privacy law?

Dot is an educational wellness platform, not a covered entity providing treatment. Employee content stays with the employee; employers receive only de-identified, suppressed aggregates. We will sign a BAA where a partner's structure requires one, and we do not sell user data — ever.

Is Dot a medical provider?

No. Dot does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Employees are always directed to licensed clinicians for medical care, and Dot produces clinician-ready visit summaries that make those appointments more productive.

How are we invoiced?

Annual or quarterly invoicing against your eligible population, with a single line item. No per-transaction billing, no charge when an employee books an included expert session, and no commission on anything she buys in the marketplace.

What does a pilot look like?

Three months at $8 PEPM, up to 500 eligible lives, a launch kit for your HR and benefits team, and monthly aggregate reporting. Most organizations see measurable engagement inside the first two weeks.

Does every employee automatically receive a Ring?

No. Ring fulfillment is tied to eligible employees who activate their Dot membership and complete Ring sizing, according to the employer's selected plan. This avoids unnecessary hardware waste and keeps deployment scalable.

Is the Dot Ring a medical device?

No. Dot Ring is positioned as a general wellness wearable. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition, and it does not replace a medical device or clinician.

What does the Ring track?

The final metric set depends on validated hardware capabilities. Ring plans may support overnight skin-temperature trends, sleep patterns, resting heart rate, and HRV or recovery information. Dot only displays metrics supported by the selected device.

Can employers see employee Ring data?

No. Individual Ring readings, sleep records, symptoms, conversations, Dot Twin insights, and session discussions remain private. Employers receive only permitted aggregate, de-identified engagement or population-level information.

How do employees receive the Ring?

After activating eligible Dot Business access, employees confirm their Ring size and shipping information. The Ring can then be fulfilled directly according to the employer's selected plan.

Does the Ring work with Dot Twin?

Yes. Ring data becomes another input into Dot Twin, helping members understand how supported overnight wellness patterns connect with their broader self-reported midlife history and personal baseline.
