Report a correction
If something on Dot reads as inaccurate, out of date, or unclear in a way that could mislead, please tell us. Health information that is wrong is worse than health information that is missing, and we would rather hear it from you than not hear it.
How we handle it
- Every report is logged with the page and the date it arrived.
- The editorial team triages it as minor, material, or safety-critical. Safety-critical reports are looked at first.
- Material and safety-critical corrections on clinical pages go back to a clinician for re-review before the page changes.
- Corrected pages get an updated review date. Where a correction changes the meaning of clinical guidance, the change is noted on the page.
- Reports that turn out to be accurate as written are closed with a note, not silently dropped.
This form is for content accuracy only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a way to reach a clinician. If you need urgent help, contact your local emergency service.
